Aerfer - Notes on the jet Sagittario 2 (1957)

7 typewritten pages of a manufacturer's document on the Aerfer Sagittario II fighter.

On 4 December 1956, the Sagittario II, piloted by Lieutenant-Colonel Giovanni Franchini, became the first supersonic aircraft built in Italy, reaching Mach 1.1 in a light dive, and the manufacturer produced two prototypes powered by a Rolls-Royce Derwent IX turbojet engine of 1650 kgp, which were used for aerodynamic studies, but never saw operational use.
