This book is more than a superb photo album that follows each of the 106 Mirage M5 Bs through their operational life in the Belgian Air Force. An Italian format, 322 pages. In 7 chapters, the book contains 106 beautiful profiles and 507 large photos, most of them never published before. Sixty-two of these photos are full page. Each chapter dedicated to an aircraft is accompanied by a short text tracing its operational life, its maintenance periods and some anecdotes. A "lifeline" table follows each aircraft, on a monthly basis, from February 1970 to January 1994.
Model enthusiasts will be delighted to discover the two chapters that document the names and badges worn by each Mirage. Finally, one of the last chapters tells the story of the return of the only two-seater Mirage to Belgian soil and takes a look at TEAM BD 09, which takes care of it at the Droneport on the former Sint-Truiden base.
