The information contained in this handbook, published by the UK Government, presents all available information up to date of publication on all the known bombs and fuzes used by the Italian Service during World War II.
The work is divided into three parts. In the first part a general description of the various types of missiles dropped from the air is given and the" classiflcation is based ultimately upon methods to be adopted in handling unexploded bombs, wnich in turn depends upon the types of fuzes and the method of arming.
The second part consists of a summary of bombs and fuzes intended for easy reference, while the third part contains detailed information of all known bombs and their fuzes with illustrations produced, in most cases, after an examination of the missiles tnemselves. All measurements are given in the English and in the metric systems.
The author belonged to the British Army Royal Engineers.
